5 Reasons We're Looking Forward to SuiteWorld 16

Posted by John Hughes | 5/16/16 3:56 PM

NetSuite’s annual cloud ERP conference, SuiteWorld 16, officially starts May 16th and we are elated to attend the world’s largest gathering of NetSuite customers, providers and developers. There are so many amazing opportunities to learn and network that it’s almost too much to keep track of. So, we’ve put together this list of the top 5 reasons we are looking forward to SuiteWorld 16.

Executive and Industry Keynote Sessions

The morning keynotes, hosted by NetSuite executives, gives those in attendance a first-hand look at new features, exciting announcements and highlights from some of the year’s most notable NetSuite customers. We are especially looking forward to the presentations made by the likes of Zach Nelson, CEO, Evan Goldberg, CTO, and Jim McGeever, COO.

Held on May 18th, the industry keynotes  will focus on building modern, global cloud-based companies specifically suited for manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, and nonprofit industries.

Networking Opportunities

The SuiteWorld Expo provides its attendees with a great opportunity to get caught up on the latest ideas from industry experts, solution partners (like ManageForce), developing partners, and integration partners. The convention center is constantly buzzing with chatter between old friends and brand-new business acquaintances. From early birds making their way to breakfast to those grabbing coffee in between breakout sessions--there will be thousands of productive conversations going on at any time.

With over 8,000 registrants expected this year, SuiteWorld presents the perfect time to network with hundreds of industry professionals and discuss the most advanced industry trends and best practices.

Executive Solution Sessions and Partner Experience

This year, SuiteWorld is introducing yet another great learning opportunity: the Executive Solution Sessions. These sessions are run by NetSuite customers and executives, and have been designed specifically with executives in mind. Topics covered include delivering the ultimate customer experience, building a modern cloud company, business model innovations and NetSuite’s strategy for global expansion.

As this will be our first SuiteWorld experience, we are especially looking forward to the Partner Experience sessions as an opportunity to get energized and educated, as well as to network with future customers.

Lunch & Learn Opportunities

First up is the Cloud du Jour Lunch. Held on Tuesday May 17th, this partner lunch and learn is a great time to discover new NetSuite partners and integrations. To join the discussion, simply look for the table-top sign of the sponsor of your choice.

The Birds of a Feather lunches will be held on Wednesday, May 18th and will feature discussions with NetSuite product experts and peers about technical challenges. Each table will be assigned a set topic of interest, including: Financial Planning, SuiteCommerce, SuiteSolutions, Revenue Management, and NetSuite OpenAir.

Last but certainly not least is the NetSuite User Group Lunch on Wednesday, May 18th. The NetSuite User Groups present a great way to learn new techniques, get technical solutions and share best practices with other NetSuite users, administrators and developers.

After Parties

Of course it’s not all work at NetSuite SuiteWorld. There will be a variety of after parties to attend this year, starting with the NSW16 Rock Show at the Civic Center on Wednesday, May 18th, featuring performances from Royal Machines. There are also several noteworthy sponsor-hosted after parties, dinners and networking events with partners. Of course, if that’s still not enough to keep everyone busy, exploring San Jose is always an excellent option.

We can’t wait to get out there to start mingling and learning. If you see us, don’t hesitate to say hi and join the conversation!
