'Twas the Night Before Christmas: IT Style... Happy Holidays!

Posted by Leah Edwards | 9/1/15 7:05 AM

‘Twas the night before Christmas when all through the logs,

not an object was stirring, and no known bogs.
The tables all lay in the database with care,
in just 2 days St. Nicholas would be there.

The CIOs nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of integrity danced in their heads.
The sys admins at ease with ManageForce on call,
settle down for a nap knowing they’re on the ball.

When out of the blue, production came to a halt,
ManageForce sprang into action to pinpoint the fault.
Online to the servers they flew like a flash,
tearing into the problem, avoiding the crash.

The database monitors showed jobs were failing,
Which made it seem clear that that’s what was ailing.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but the database suddenly started to clear!

With highly skilled staff, so lively and able,
the ManageForce experts turned chaos to stable.
More rapid than eagles, the experts they came,
and we whistled and shouted and called them by name:

“Now Matthew! Now Mary!
Now, Rebecca and Ray G!
On, Eric! On, Jill!
On, Dan and Bobby!
To the top of the VM,
And the server room!
Now dash away!
Dash away!
Dash away with a zoom!”

ManageForce skills are the driving force,

when faced with an obstacle, they’ll uncover the source.
So up to the house-top the DBAs flew,
with a sleigh full of tricks, and experience, too.

And then, in a twinkling, you’ll hear right away,
the clicking and clacking of each keyboard play.
The culprit identified and uptime restored,
down the chimney came ManageForce already onboard!

Database – SQL, Oracle to name a few,
Application management strategy peer review.
The first goal, to help IT Leaders strike balance,
see across technology without a challenge.

They spoke not a word, but went straight to their work,
Database is healthy, apps not berserk.
Laying a finger to the side of their nose,
they logged out of the system, this case was closed.

They sprang to the sleigh, to the team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
but I heard them exclaim, 'ere they drove out of sight,
“Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!”
