What's New With JD Edwards Tools Release 9.2.3?

Late last year, Oracle JD Edwards announced its latest Tools Release (9.2 Update 3) for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1), along with a significant drive to lead digital transformation and transformational business solutions.

This release of JDE Tools has showered JDE E1 users with improvements across orchestration automation and extensive form enhancements. The array of features 9.2.3 delivers promises to benefit companies in a number of ways throughout their digital enterprise journey.

Notification Message Center and My Worklist

JDE 9.2.3 Tools Release allows more control of notification messages as users are now able to search, group, sort, and delete messages at once. The new My Worklist EnterpriseOne page is much more straightforward as the Message Center, Orchestrator Health Monitor, and Watchlists are in a single pane for viewing.

Form Extensibility Improvements

Industry and business processes have advanced in JDE 9.2.3 through the new Form Extension improvements. Entry forms and power browse forms now hold the ability to integrate orchestration into extended forms. The extensive set of features, such as Business View Columns, allow users to reduce complexity, retire various customizations, and simplify data entry.

64-bit Computing

JD Edwards has done an exceptional job supporting 64-bit hardware, operating systems, databases, etc. for many years. Excitingly enough, JDE E1 9.2.3 release will also help to enable 64-bit processing allowing for future-proof product innovation for the Enterprise Server and Development Client.

Orchestration Enhancements

JDE EnterpriseOne Orchestration drives digital transformation with automated business processes. Users are now able to launch orchestrations from EnterpriseOne events, expand Orchestrator data forms to CSV files, and view a simplified screen of error handling steps during Orchestration.
